Title
The title of this workshop is “Developing Broadband in Slovenia – Current situation, Barriers, Risks and Opportunities”.
Date and venue
The workshop was held on 5 April 2006 at the Jozef Stefan Institute (IJS), in the lecturing hall of the International Postgraduate School, Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Objectives
The objectives of the workshop in Slovenia were the following:- to identify the status, barriers, inhibitors and risks in BB development in Slovenia taking into account regulations, politics, funding mechanisms and partnerships
- to bring together stakeholders in the Broadband value chain
- to present best practice approaches for Broadband deployment and usage from other EU countries.
