Goals
The main goal of the Special Interest Group FTTx Forum-czsk is to
promote and accelerate deployment of optical technologies in the access networks in the Czech and Slovak Republics. To this end, the SIG will:- Facilitate networking of experts working in the field
- Educate its members by organizing seminars
- Organize round-table discussions on FTTx issues
- Monitor deployment of optical technologies in the access networks in the Czech and Slovak Republics and abroad
- Disseminate information on .best practice. examples
- Co-ordinate national activities aiming at promotion deployment of optical technologies in the access networks in the CR and SR
- Boost the idea of employing optical fibres in access networks through publicity and negotiations with public bodies
Activities
- Collecting and disseminating information on FTTx technologies a their deployment
- Organisation of face-to-face meetings at national workshops
- Exchange of views on FTTx
