The Special Interest Group targeting Poland has been officially setup on 10 January 2006. If you are

interested in joining and contributing to the goals of the SIG, please read the section ‘How to join?’.

Subject

The subject of the SIG Poland is ‘Broadband for all in Poland’.

Goals

The main goal of the SIG Poland ‘Broadband for all in Poland’ is to support and contribute to the

development of broadband accessibility, which means building the necessary infrastructure and developing and providing various e-services.

The SIG is meant to include all relevant stakeholders in the broadband domain in order to transfer knowledge

about best practices and to facilitate the building of partnerships between the relevant stakeholders. The SIG will thus stimulate the creation of a positive environment for broadband development in Poland. The SIG will also facilitate collaboration on research projects.

SIG communication

The email address breath-sig-poland {AT} ist-breath.net has been setup for communication between the SIG

members. The primary language used within the SIG is English.
